Winter Holidays open house at the Washington Animal Rescue League

The Washington Animal Rescue League is having it’s “Winter Holidays Open House”.  Please bring family and friends…and even your dog! (must be leashed).

71 Oglethorpe Street NW, Washington DC 20011

Activities:

Photos with Santa Claus for pets and kids by one of the League’s very generous pro bono photographers, Foster Wiley  

    $20 for one 4”x6” photo and an electronic file.
    $5 for each additional photo.
    All proceeds support the League’s animal care programs.

All photographs, other than the one that the League will process, will need to be processed at a photo department or store to achieve superior quality and to produce multiple copies and/or enlargements.

Holiday arts-and-crafts for kids to decorate the animals’ dens

Please bring a donation of unopened pet food to put under the tree for the League’s Rescuers Food Bank which assists low-income pet guardians.  Unused pet toys or equipment (leashes, carriers, beds, etc.) are welcome, too.
