The El Conquistador, a Waldorf Astoria resort, is nestled amongst hundreds of palm trees and lush vegetation. Guests are greeted just beyond the main entrance with a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The property is situated at the top of a bluff, which makes for amazing views and photo opportunities at any spot. Several swimming pools, hot tubs and cabanas are available to please poolside devotees, with several resort restaurants, a casino and multiple bar areas to keep guests of all sorts entertained. The Golden Door Spa boasts countless massage, skin care and beauty treatments for those looking to indulge.

If visitors need a slight change of scenery, they can hop the ferry to Palomino Island, the El Conquistador's privately owned island escape. Activities on the island range from horseback riding and hiking to snorkeling and sand volleyball. Gift shops, cafes and bars are scattered throughout the island to purchase souvenirs, enjoy lunch or order a piña colada to sip on the beach. Excursions offered near the resort include hiking in the El Yunque rainforest, relaxing on the picturesque Luquillo Beach or kayaking in the bioluminescent bay in Vieques.

El Conquistador offers several room packages including the Caribbean Escape, which includes a free breakfast buffet and free fourth night of lodging when guests stay for three consecutive nights.
