Winter Comfort

Fireplace, a glass of wine and a comforting meal is what cold winter nights are made of. While winter has just begun, the frigid weather has comfort food on all of our minds. The Turf Room in North Aurora provides a relaxing winter getaway, even if just for a night.

The menu at the Turf Room offers a variety of classic dishes with a modern gourmet flair. Their food is influenced from a variety of cultures from Mexican, Italian and Traditional American. Their main dining area surrounds a sunken lounge with a cozy fireplace for more intimate dining. The lights are kept low without being over powering and they boast an extensive wine and drink list.

Dinner menu highlights include:

Lobster Corn Dogs: Featuring Fresh Maine Lobster, Scallion, Red Pepper, Soy, Sweet and Sour dipping sauce

Calamari salad: Cumin spiced calamari, Avocado, Orange, Grape Tomato, Jicama, Cilantro, Tostada Shell, Corn, Spicy Sour Cream, Romaine, and Citrus Vinaigrette.

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup Flatbread: Havarti Cheese, Goat Cheese, Garlic Cream, Oven Roasted Tomato, Herb Crouton

Filo Chicken: Sausage, Onion, Bell Pepper, Cajun Cous Cous, Mozzarella, Grilled Chicken, Mornay Sauce, Red Pepper Mashed Potato

The Turf Room also features a soundproof Track Room behind the Main Bar that can be accessed through a brick archway. They offer you the opportunity to place wagers on horses from around the country in a private setting away from the main dining area.

Whether it’s a romantic dinner or a girl’s night out, The Turf Room is the perfect relief from cold winter nights.

The Turf Room also hosts a Sunday brunch from 10am to 2pm filled with a carving station, waffle station, omelet station and plenty of warm entrees including Smoked Salmon with Truffle Horseradish.

Thursday- Saturday 11:00AM - 1:00AM

Sunday 10:00AM- 10:00PM
