Winter Comedy Arts Festival Traverse City Michigan

The Comedy Arts Festival will headline Dick Gregory and Robert Wuhl among others February 14 - 17 in Traverse City Michigan. The Festival will take place in downtown Traverse City and feature a a monster dog pull, frozen bed race and sledding.

Stand up and improv will take place at three main venues by the funny Susie Essman, Kathleen Madigan and Jeff Garlin. The snow is still deep in Northern Michigan and the sun is rarely seen. Many locals hope that Todd Barry and Doug Benson will cheer them up.

The State theater in Traverse City is the main venue will host Marty DeRosa, Magan Gailey, Ricky Gozalez and Liza Treyger. A block away the Traverse City Opera House will welcome to the stage Neal Bennan, Ian Edwards and TJ Miller.

At the Old Town Playhouse audiences will enjoy the performances of John Fugelsang, Allen Havey and Pete Holmes. The roads are still icy but Eddie Pepitone and Sheng Wang will melt the Winter blues and bring smiles to all who travel to the great white north.

A bonfire will warm those who venture outside between the comedy shows. Lasers will light up the night ski for the Bitter Buddha and funny films such as the Coexist Comedy Tour and the Aristocrats.
