Winter Block Party for Chicago's Hip Hop Arts promises a hot time this weekend!

WBEZ-FM and http://Vocalo.org present the 'Winter Block Party for Chicago's Hip Hop Arts: An Evening of Music and Celebration'. It may be the coldest weather on record but Chicagoans know how to party hot! Whether or not you are a fan, or familiar with Hip Hop, this is a guaranteed good time - free and open to the public during the day beginning at noon on Saturday, January 26, at the Metro. For the evening concert, doors open at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, and the music begins at 8:00 p.m. A- List of performers include the eight-piece Chicago hip hop band Sidewalk Chalk, named “Best Hip Hop Act in Chicago of 2010" by the Chicago Reader.
