For anyone interested in bicycling, the Winter Bike Shop Expo at AtlantiCare Life Center in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., on Sunday, Feb. 17, is the place where they should go. There will be bikes on display and industry experts available for guidance.
The Expo, sponsored by the Shore Bicycle Club, will have representatives from manufacturers and local bike shops. The reps will be available during the entire show and will be showing their latest products.
In addition, there will be two main speakers. David Hale Sylvester, author of “Travelling At The Speed Of Life”, will speak at 12:30 p.m. about his biking around the world. At 2 p.m., Karen Brooks, an editor at Bicycle Times, will speak about women in cycling. Invitations have also been issued to local bike trail advocates to speak, but none have been scheduled yet.
