WinStar World Casino Global Event Center

WinStar World Casino
WinStar World Casino

WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma has evolved into one of the largest and most distinctive casinos in the world since its original creation.  The gaming resort is owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation and features different sections of the casino modeled after different locations around the world (Rome, London, Paris, Madrid, Beijing, Vienna, Cairo, and New York).  The creative design provides a mesmerizing visual when driving by or approaching the massive complex including the casino, hotel, golf course, and other amenities.

Among the many amenities WinStar has to offer, the Global Event Center provides the gaming resort with the ability to host world-class entertainment acts.  To date, most of the acts have been musical artists, but the Center has hosted comedians and a couple other entertainment options.  The venue has a capacity of three thousand and creates a small, intimate atmosphere without making the area seem small.  The Global Event Center gives WinStar a decisive advantage over the competition.  This Saturday, July 17, the Center hosts Louisiana based Better Than Ezra with Denton based Bowling for Soup.

While attending the concert, guests can enjoy an expansive array of electronic slots, poker, table games, bingo, and off-track betting.  If gaming is not your interest, the resort offers a luxurious day spa, gym, pool, and golf course.  Whatever your interest, WinStar World Casino has something for you.  Their hotel provides an excellent place to relax in comfort and sleep for the night.  The concert starts at 8:00pm CST, so it will end fairly late.  Get a room and enjoy all the wonderful amenities that WinStar has to offer.

The Dallas Local Music Examiner will attend the concert.  If you plan on attending, e-mail or post in the comments section below.  We can meet up and talk about the show and facilities.  As always, feel free to subscribe to the column by clicking the link at the top of the article to receive new articles delivered to your e-mail, free of charge.  Hope to see you at the show!

Winstar is the worst place i have ever been. the people were not friendly, the food was the worst i have ever eaten. i don't know where they get their employees from but they are not helpful at all. I rather spend my money in Louisiana, at least there I can play for a long time and maybe even win.

Well I must agree with Betty, but the food was better at the Buffet than it has been ever before. My wife and I did win a little bit of money. I have to agree the employees are not friendly at all. We ask for help and no one could help us. They got to big to fast. Good luck WinStar.
