After overindulgent Christmas holidays, have your thoughts turned to eating better and being more mindful of living well? If so, there is an event in town this weekend that wants to help you.

Head down to the Winnipeg Convention Centre for the 17th annual Winnipeg Wellness Expo. From January 14 to 16 you can take in a number of seminars and visit more than 90 exhibiting companies all devoted to improving your health.

Speakers include Julia Havey, a bestselling author and master motivator who has helped thousands of people reach their weight loss goals after losing 130 pounds herself. Lorna Vanderhaeghe has been researching nutritional medicine for more than 25 years and is considered one of Canada’s leading woman’s health experts. Dr. Gerry Bohemier is a retired Winnipeg chiropractor who now researches nutritional products to help reverse disease processes. John Gryz is financial coach who encourages financial wellness and helps people find their way to attaining financial independence.

Find out more about massages, facials, fitness plans, anti-aging products and spiritual healing. Discover the latest vitamin supplements, herbal teas, minerals drinks, energy bars, and more. Many exhibitors let you try out their products, or take home free samples. General admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.
