The Wednesday, July 14, 2010 Powerball winning numbers were 20, 21, 23, 38, 42, the Powerball was 6, and the Powerplay was X3. Although there were no Powerball jackpot winners, there were 582,641 smaller prizes awarded ranging from $3.00 to $200,000. Since there were no grand prize winners in last night's drawing, the jackpot will jump to $27 million dollars on Saturday, July 17, 2010.
Florida Powerball Winner Scores $73.8 Million Dollar Jackpot
One lucky person matched all six balls on their Florida Powerball ticket, winning Saturday's $73.9 million dollar jackpot. The winning numbers for July 10, 2010, were 20, 21, 27, 28, and 56. The Powerball was 4, and the Power Play was X4.
According to Florida Lottery.com, it was the second Powerball jackpot prize, and the third largest jackpot paid to a sole winner in Florida's lottery history. Florida has had more Powerball winners than any other state since launching the game in January, 2009 with more than $289 million dollars in prizes paid. The winning quick-pick ticket was purchased at a Publix supermarket in Royal Palm Beach. Watch the Florida Lottery video here. The winner has 180 days to claim their Powerball jackpot in Florida.

The Powerball lottery game is played in 42 states, Washington D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Players can watch the Powerball numbers being drawn live each Wednesday and Saturday evening at 10:59pm EST on over 100 TV stations around the country. The live Powerball drawing can also be viewed online at Powerball Live at 10:59pm EST. Sales of Powerball tickets are cut off at different times in different states, anywhere from one hour to two hours before the drawing. Check here for cut-off times in your state.
The next Powerball drawing will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 when the jackpot rises to $27,000,000.
