Nobody brought a pot of honey to this premiere, but Winnie the Pooh wanted one. The Winnie the Pooh premiere was held at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank on Sunday afternoon with the voice cast present and Tigger too. All those who came to enjoy the flick really weren’t the main celebrities of the occasion. Instead it was all about Christopher Robbin and his bear Pooh.
It’s not every day that a celebrity can say they shared the red carpet with Eeyore, Tigger, Owl, Roo and Kanga, but that is exactly What Craig Ferguson can now gloat about. The late night talk show host voices Owl and was on the red carpet with Jim Cummings (who voices Winnie the Pooh and Tigger) as well as other talented actors celebrating the latest animation film set to be released this week.
The film, perfect for the entire family, has Pooh waking up one day to find that he is out of honey. While searching, Pooh discovers Eeyore who is even sadder than Pooh because he has lost his tail. Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Kanga, and Roo come to the rescue, and Christopher Robin decides to hold a contest to see who can find Eeyore's tail with a pot of honey as the reward.
