Breakdown analysis: Microsoft (MSFT) on Thursday said it has sold more than 5 million Xbox One units to retailers around the globe, according to an update from Yusuf Mehdi, head of the Xbox division's marketing, strategy and business. Citing NPD Data, the software giant, who hadn't provided sales figures since early January, said it sold an estimated 311,000 Xbox Ones.
