Rain or shine, runners and walkers don pink for the Miles of Memories 5K Fun Run/Walk for Breast Cancer on Saturday, October 12. Proceeds and pledges will benefit the Miriam B. White Foundation, Inc., offering financial assistance to Wisconsin men and women who are undergoing breast cancer treatment.
Open to all ages, the untimed event begins at 10 a.m. on October 12 at Arthur Marble Park, located at Main Street / Highway 116 and South Sixth Street, in Winneconne, Wisconsin. Participants who raise cash donations totaling $150 or more may participate in the Miles of Memories 5K Fun Run/Walk for Breast Cancer for free. Team discounts are also offered for groups of 10 or more.
Commemorative event tee shirts are offered with pre-registration.
Race-day check-in opens at 9 a.m. for the community fitness and fund-raising event. Leashed pets are welcome, and strollers may be allowed as well.
