With so many great new store fronts popping up in and around downtown Ferndale, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be surprised to find yet another. A recent stroll down 9 Mile had Warren and I both very enthused to find our new favorite shop, Winezilla, located at 155 W. 9 Mile.
Both of us really enjoy our wine, and so it’s really surprising to us that we have not yet set foot in the shop! But from what we hear, most wines within are priced under $15. The quirky naming convention and prices are both a true stamp of what we love so much about Ferndale’s downtown culture.
Ed Bosse, wine connoisseur and former owner of Simply Wine, has returned to Ferndale with a bold and exciting new concept - reasonably priced wines that are “simple deliciousness”. Warren and I are looking forward to having our very own experience at Winezilla, and we will certainly let you know how it goes. But for now, just be aware of this new store front and all of the fun it has to offer.
Afterall, Bosse claims, “Winezilla was chosen to let ‘normal’ human beings know that wine is made for them, not snotty ‘wine’ people.”
