Founded in 1983 by veterinarian Dr. Elliot Katz, IDA’s mission is to end animal exploitation, cruelty, and abuse by protecting and advocating for the rights, welfare, and habitats of animals of all kinds. Through their chimpanzee sanctuary in Cameroon, Africa, their veterinary clinics in Mumbai, India, and their 64-acre sanctuary for abused and abandoned animals in rural Mississippi, their work on behalf of animals spans the globe. IDA is involved in stopping the round up of wild mustangs as well as rescuing abandoned or neglected horses through sanctuary, Project Hope and their foster care program.
The event will be held Tuesday, March 30, from 6:30 – 9:30pm at Trigg Ison Fine Art, 511 N. Robertson Blvd., West Hollywood, CA. $30 tax deductible donation.
