Wine Spectator highlights Oregon Wines in its Top 100 list

Each year Wine Spectator releases a list of the Top 100 wines of the year. In 2013 the magazine shone a spotlight on Pinot Noir from Oregon's Willamette Valley. Four Oregon wineries made the top 100, with Domaine Serene cracking the top ten for the first time at number three with its 2010 Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir. This type of press is a huge honor for the winery, obviously, but also for Oregon's Willamette Valley Pinot Noir in general.

The other three Oregon wineries are all located in the Willamette Valley. Alexana's Revana Vineyard Pinot Noir came in at number 17; A to Z Wineworks was honored with the number 55 spot; and, Ken Wright's Savoya Vineyard Pinot Noir made a showing at number 79. Congratulations to Oregon's Willamette Valley and delectable Pinot Noir.
