On Friday, October 1, two neighboring wineries from the Russian River Valley in Sonoma County, CA will relive their collegiate rivalry in Dallas by hosting the first annual Russian River Shootout dinner at Grailey’s Fine Wine.
University of Texas alum, Mark McWilliams from Arista Winery, will be taking on University of Oklahoma alum, Chris Donatiello from C. Donatiello Winery in the boozy battle. The dinner kick offs at 6 p.m., and alongside dinner Chris and Mark will each serve four Russian River Valley wines from their portfolio.
If the wine showdown is anything like the Red River Shootout, it should be a competitive affair.
