Now is the time to enjoy some of Miami’s best weather and this weekend is no different! This amazing weather will be accompanying the Miami Beach Food and Wine Festival hosted by The Food Network. Starting Thursday and going through this Sunday some of our favorite chefs will be hosting clinics, parties, and wine tastings. With a wide range of chefs including icons like Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, and Bobby Flay, this premier event is guaranteed to be star studded.
Many of the big events of the Wine and Food Festival begin this Thursday night, so let’s make sure the weather cooperates. At night low temperatures will be relatively warm for this time of year, only going down to 67 degrees Fahrenheit. Don’t worry about any rain because skies will be clear. Take advantage of this nice weather and go out to the festival and stop by Dining in the Dark hosted by David Burke at 7PM, or even go to a party and see Moët Hennessy's The Q After Dark at 10PM. As the night begins to calm down you’ll want to begin planning the next day of festivities. Friday is going to be warm and sunny, with highs reaching 86. Winds will be light, so by late afternoon the sun will feel hot. With few clouds, and strong sun make sure to bring out the sunscreen and water bottles while you stop by the beach. After a relaxing morning at the beach begin to head out to the festival’s events. Beginning at 1PM and going through midnight there will be plenty of events to keep you occupied. If you plan on staying out late get ready for slightly cooler temperatures, with a temperature near 65 at midnight.
"As we head into the weekend, get ready to enjoy some cooler temperatures!"
On Saturday skies will be slightly cloudier causing the high temperature to only be about 80 degrees. This will be the perfect day to walk around and see the different food festival events without being too hot. This will also be the largest day of the festival with over two-dozen events between 10AM to 7PM. After a long day of walking around South Beach take a load off your feet and make sure to stop by Lincoln road where you can pick up some of the best food in the area. As the sun begins to set don’t worry about any cold temperatures, because the high will only drop to near 70 degrees. Like Saturday, Sunday will be similar. With mostly cloudy skies, and cooler temperatures make sure to go out and enjoy the final day of the Wine and Food Festival. Most importantly make sure to enjoy this beautiful weekend up ahead!
