Windy with rain changing to snow today (Video)

A cold front will move across the area this morning. Temperatures remained warm enough overnight for mainly liquid precipitation, however colder air will arrive this morning and rain showers will change to snow showers. The snow could be briefly heavy through late this morning.

This afternoon, temperatures will continue to fall with scattered snow showers likely. Roads could become quite icy as temperatures fall so use caution if you are traveling.

It will become windy today as well with gusts in excess of 45 mph possible.

Tonight, a chilly air mass will settle over the area on gusty westerly winds. Scattered snow showers will continue, especially across the snow belt east of Cleveland. Lows tonight will fall into the teens.

Wednesday will be breezy and chilly with scattered snow showers possible, especially across the snow belt. Highs will reach the mid to upper 20s.

The snow showers will taper off Wednesday night with fair weather expected on Thursday. Highs on Thursday will once again reach the mid to upper 20s.

A weakening storm system will bring another chance of snow or mixed precipitation to the area Thursday night through Friday.
