Windy and warm with rain showers likely through this afternoon (Video)

A cold front located over western Ohio this morning well move eastward across northwestern Pennsylvania this afternoon. Widespread rain showers are likely as this system moves through. A few heavy downpours are possible along with a rumble of thunder in some spots.

It will become windy this afternoon with gusts in excess of 35 mph possible.

Highs this afternoon will top out in the mid to upper 50s.

Colder air will spread across the area tonight and rain showers will gradually taper off, possible ending as a few snow showers.

It will be quite windy tonight with gusts in excess of 40 mph possible.

Lows tonight will fall to the low to mid 30s.

It will be a mostly cloudy day on Tuesday with scattered snow showers possible. A light slushy accumulation is possible across the higher terrain.

Highs on Tuesday will reach the mid to upper 30s.

Another cold front will cross the area Tuesday night ushering in colder air. As the flow shifts to the west-northwest, lake effect snow showers will develop. This activity will persist through Wednesday.

Some accumulating snow is expected with some locations picking up several inches.

Lows Tuesday night will dip into the mid 20s with highs Wednesday in the low to mid 30s.
