Window shopping for a new job

Looking for a new job? Do some window shopping first!

Many women have recently lost their jobs or are in jeopardy of losing their jobs.  And with all those unemployed women out there looking for work you might think it's hard to get a job.  But jobs are out there.  You just have to know where to look and what to look for!

Now is the perfect time to think back on things you did before you fell into your current career.  Did you babysit as a teen?  Maybe you had fun as a waitress during high school.  Or maybe you delivered a mean pizza with a special smile.  But you didn't want to grow up to be a babysitter, a waitress or a pizza girl.  You grew up to be something else.  And now that something else might be gone.

Go back to your roots and analyze why you liked your early jobs (or why you didn't like them).  If you were good with kids chances are you are still good with kids!  If you had the personality to deliver pizza with a smile that personality is still there!  So before you go out to try to replace a job you just lost with the exact same job title do some window shopping.  Look around and see if maybe, just maybe, you might like to try something more fun.  The pay might not be as great... but it's better than making zero!
