The Winchester Mystery House known as one of the most haunted places in America, just received a special permit that could allow overnight stays. That's according to ABC 7.

The permit allows no more than 160 rooms in the main house, and the permit also allows the cafe to be turned into a restaurant.

This news is great for those that are interested in the mystery and always wanted to know what it was like to stay in the infamous place. It's said that Sarah Winchester believed that if she built on to her home by adding rooms and false doors, then the spirits that were killed by the Winchester arms would be appeased.

Just weeks ago, another place that is known for being one of the most haunted places in America, Waverly Sanitarium, announced that they are currently in the process of making the place into a hotel and restaurant too.
