Win a trip to Paris, France! (Image via letterjames.com)
One of my favorite casual restaurants, Mimi’s Café, is sponsoring a contest, the Grand Prize for which is a trip to Paris, France.
How fortuitous for this to pop up on my radar during our “April in Paris” month!
The promotion began on March 24, and you can enter one time per day through May 7, 2010. Read all the “Mimi’s Trip to France” promotion rules here. (By the way, the “Click here” you see there doesn’t look like a link, but it is and will take you to a pdf document which contains all the details.)
The promotion’s Grand Prize consists of:
- Roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for two from a major airport near the winner’s home to Paris, France;
- Five days and four nights’ accommodations at a three-star hotel;
- A four-hour Bateaux Parisiens Dinner Cruise for two, which includes Paris sightseeing, French cuisine served at a private table in the front of the boat, and evening entertainment;
- Roundtrip airport transfers via private sedan; and
- $650 spending money.
Oh la la!
The dinner cruise piqued my interest, so check out the cool Seine cruise slideshow below (courtesy of flickr’s eNil - *beginning to resurface*, Creative Commons license) and then go for it!
You can enter “Mimi’s Trip to France” here, and remember you can enter once a day.
Bonne chance!

Thanks! I'm entering now!
Ah, even if you have to pay, Paris is worth it. (Sigh)
Ah, May in Paris :)
BTW, did I spot the Statue of Liberty in the slideshow?
It may not be Paris, but gotta love New York City any time of year - it's my hometown.
Je voudrais un voyage a Paris. Merci.
@neala -- Good eye! It's a Lady Liberty replica, actually. According to the book "The Statue of Liberty Revisted" by Wilton S. Dillon (as quoted on endex.com)...
"On July 4, 1889 the American community in Paris offered the French people a gift of a bronze replica of the Statue of Liberty; it still stands now, on an island in the Seine River, downstream from the Eiffel Tower. In a symbolic sense, this recently restored American gift closes the circle of gift giving that was launched by the French in the 1860's with the gift of Miss Liberty. In a deeper sense, though, the American replica in Paris serves to extend and strenthen the chain of reciprocity between the two peoples that has existed since before the founding of the American Republic and that promises to continue well into the future."
Yes - I saw Lady Liberty also.
I liked the idea of spending cash!
Ah, thanks for the explanation - and how neat to have the Statue of Liberty in Paris.
Merci beaucoup!!!!!!!
what a wonderful contest to win!
