The fashion world has been buzzing about Sarah Jessica Parker’s new shoe collection for months. Fans have lined up for hours for the chance to meet the style icon and get her signature on their shoes. But forget about standing in line or paying hundreds of dollars for a pair of SJP shoes- Nordstrom has just announced they are giving fans the chance to win SJP shoes for free.
The highly anticipated SJP collection has proven to be even more popular than originally planned for. It helps that Sarah Jessica Parker has launched a cross country tour stopping at Nordstrom department stores in major cities to greet fans and promote the line.
Signed SJP shoes have already started popping up on auction sites like eBay. The average starting bid for a Sarah Jessica Parker signed high heel is around $650. Many of the auctions sport “buy it now” prices of a thousand dollars or more. It’s quit the increase considering flats in the SJP shoe line retail for around $195.
If you’re looking to snag some free SJP shoes for yourself Nordstrom’s contest couldn’t be easier. Simply pin your favorite shoes or repin your favorite images from the “SJP: A Day in Her Shoes board” created by Nordstrom to any board in your Pinterest profile. Then go online here to submit your entry to Nordstrom. You can enter once a day until March 14th when the contest ends. One randomly selected winner will receive a $2,000 Nordstrom gift card to spend in store or online. You must be 18 and can see the full list of rules and guidelines here.
The shoe collection also includes several handbags and a classic trench style coat in two colors. The shoes are made in Italy and were created hand in hand with Parker’s business partner George Malkemus, who is also CEO of Blahnik USA. This relationship between the famous shoe company with the SJP line has caused many budget conscious shoppers to consider the SJP shoes Blahnik’s at a nicer price. The collection is available exclusively at Nordstrom and online at Nordstrom.com.
The shoe line is certainly not Sarah Jessica Parker’s first foray into fashion. The style icon has had several collaborations over the years, including several perfumes and a now discontinued budget clothing line called Bitten. She has also served as the face of both GAP and Garnier hair products.
