Wilton, the company that makes a gazillion products for baking cakes and cookies for every character, theme, and holiday, has some fun products for an adult Halloween party. You can make skull or brain ice cubes, or shot glasses made of ice. You can color your drinks, or put spooky parasols in them. The Halloween wine bottle labels are my favorite. I also found a blow-up cooler that is shaped like a coffin and has a skeleton standing up at the back. This is not from Wilton, of course. You can order it online at Buy Costumes. Be sure to check out the slideshow to see the products.
As for the drinks themselves, the options are nearly endless. The Bloodsucker Cocktail mixes rum, cointreau, pineapple juice, and strawberry puree that results in a delicious concoction in which the red puree slowly sinks to the bottom when you make it, looking like blood. You can find the recipe, along with lots of ideas for recipes and how to make the drinks spooky at the Halloween Cocktail Squidoo lens. The cocktail you see in the photo is Ectoplasm 'n Eyeballs Cocktail. It is made with vodka, Midori melon liqueur, Blue Curacao, orange juice, and Sprite. You can find this recipe and more ideas for making drinks spooky at Divine Dinner Parties.
Knoxvillians - You can find Wilton products at Wal-mart. A bigger selection awaits at Hobby Lobby (now in Turkey Creek). My fave Wilton selection in town is at Michael's though. We have a Michael's on Kingston Pike near Babies R Us and Chick-Fil-A.
