Willow Smith 'Annie' remake: Actress explains why she dropped out

Willow Smith was supposed to star in the big "Annie" remake but instead she ended up dropping out of it. On Wednesday, US Magazine shared the news that Willow is now talking about why she didn't do the movie. It looks like it is set to be a huge hit and she probably missed out on a big deal.

She explained it saying, "To be honest, something inside me was just, like, 'Don't, I'm very connected with my intuition." That is the only reason that she gave at all. Willow Smith didn't share anything besides that she just didn't feel like she should do it. That really isn't the best explanation but at the same time it makes sense and people can understand that because listening to yourself is the best thing to do sometimes.

Broadway World shared just a bit more about it. Her father Will Smith actually produced the remake of "Annie" and you would think she would want to do this with him. Willow went on to say, "I just wanted to chill, and be at home, and decompress, and just find out what I wanna do and where I stand on this planet, with the little tiny place we have." It sounds like she made this big decision on her own instead of just doing what her dad thought was the best for her.

The new version of "Annie" will hit theaters just in time for Christmas. Previews are already showing when you go to the movies. It is going to be one of the must see films this year and everyone is going to be rushing out to see it but they won't be seeing Willow Smith because she is not in it at all. Don't miss this new flick.
