Legendary singer and songwriter Willie Nelson celebrated his 80th birthday with the release of his latest CD, “To All The Girls.”
Willie Nelson has more awards than can be counted and at 80 his voice is stronger than ever without dubbing or auto tuning. “To All The Girls” was released on Oct. 15 and contains a compilation of duets with some of the most talented and iconic women of country music.
Willie Nelson fans can purchase not only the “To All The Girls” CD or download on iTunes, but they can also purchase a “Still Going Strong” bundle which includes the CD and a Willie Nelson 80th birthday collector’s t-shirt.
Willie Nelson has written some of the most iconic songs in country music, including “Crazy” which was recorded by Patsy Cline. Cline died in a plane crash on March 5, 1963 at the age of 30. “Crazy” was one of Patsy Cline’s biggest hits and firmly planted her on the list of iconic women of country music.
“To All The Girls” is pure country, showcasing Willie’s bluegrass roots and outlaw music style. The CD includes duets with Dolly Parton, Rosanne Cash, Wynonna Judd, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn, Alison Krauss, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow and Miranda Lambert, just to name a few.
