The Williamson County Schools Student Support Services Department will hold three community sessions in January to solicit input on the future of special education. Using funds from the American Recover and Reinvestment Act, the system plans to contract with an independent group of professionals to conduct an audit or program evaluation.
To guide this evaluation process, the department has been asked to develop essential questions with the aid of the parents and members of the community as the broad stakeholder group. To gather input, the department will offer three sessions of structured conversation, each from 4-5:30 p.m.
