It seems like William Shatner has done it all, including a career in music. This year marks his return to music with his new album “Ponder the Mystery.” The record features many musical guests including Vince Gill, Edgar Winter, Rick Wakeman, and Steve Vai. The songs, written by Shatner and his musical partner Billy Sherwood, allows the listener to follow a man in despair through sunrise, twilight, and finally the dark of night. In the process he learns how to enjoy life again. To celebrate his fourth studio album, the William Shatner himself will head out on tour with prog rock group Circa, which features former Yes member Tony Kaye, to perform the new record in its entirety. Unfortunately, Chicago fans won't get the chance to see Shatner perform unless you'll be in the California area. So far no information has been released about a full North American tour.
Shatner's “Ponder the Mystery” is out now. You can order your copy of the new album from his official website. There you can also see where Shatner will be on his very brief tour.
