Supermodel Cara Delevingne is headed for Hollywood, and not just for LA Fashion Week. The British-born model is said to have three feature films in the works, and William Morris Endeavor, one of the biggest celebrity talent agencies in Los Angeles, is going to provide her representation.
Ms. Delevingne is in good company. The William Morris roster has hosted a bevy of celebrity beauties over the years, including Oscar-winning model turned actress Charlize Theron, 1980’s supermodel Christie Brinkley, celebrity icon Paris Hilton, and America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks.
With high-profile fashion clients like Burberry, DKNY and Chanel under her belt, the 21-year-old model is exceedingly overqualified to become a Top Model reality show contestant. However, she reportedly came close to landing the lead role in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, and a supporting role in the 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables.
Now, with the William Morris brand backing her, Delevingne is poised to make her childhood dreams of movie stardom a reality, with the potential of becoming Hollywood’s next ‘it’ girl.
