This week at San Diego’s independent bookstore, Mysterious Galaxy, William Kent Kruger and romance novelist Erin Quinn will be signing their latest releases.
William Kent Kruger returns with the latest installment in his Cork O’Connor mystery series, “Tamarack County.” The book takes place just days before Christmas. When a search-and-rescue team, which includes former sheriff Cork O’Connor, discovers an abandoned car belonging to a retired local judge. Clues surface over the next few days that point to someone committing murder in Tamarack County. Cork suspects the new events are related to a murder more than twenty years old, for which an innocent man might have been convicted.
William Kent Krueger is the award-winning author of twelve previous Cork O'Connor novels, including Ordinary Grace and Northwest Angle. Learn more about him on his website at www.williamkentkrueger.com.
The author of the Mists of Ireland series, Erin Quinn, will be at Mysterious Galaxy to sign “The Five Deaths of Roxanne Love.” Roxanne Love always wanted a normal marriage and kids. But, Roxanne isn’t normal—or even entirely human. When a violent robbery at her family-owned bistro leaves her and her twin brother, Reece, cheating death again, the media puts them at the center of attention. The pair also come to the attention of a Reaper whose grasp they have evaded one too many times. When her brother betrays her, Roxanne has no choice but to seek Reece out and put an end to those threatening her life.
Erin Quinn’s previous releases include “Haunting Desire” and “Haunting Embrace.” Learn more about her on her website at www.erinquinnbooks.com.
In addition to his columns on Examiner.com, Terry Ambrose (themysterywriter.com) also writes mysteries and suspense. The San Francisco Book Review said of his latest novel, “On all levels License to Lie justifiably earned this five-star rating!”
