TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been receiving hundreds of cards and messages wishing them luck with their pregnancy. Now, at the couple’s request, St. James’s Palace is responding to each individual message with a card featuring the couple. This is instead of the traditional, more formal, letter that the royals typically send. The message on the card reads:
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were touched by your kind words following the wonderful news that they are expecting their first baby. It really was most thoughtful of you and Their Royal Highnesses send their warmest thanks and best wishes.”
The outer envelope features a “C” for Catherine. The picture on the front was reportedly chosen personally by the couple. It is from their south east Asia tour at the Botanical Gardens in Singapore. St. James’s Palace official spokesman said the Duke and Duchess were compelled to send the more personalized response because they had been so touched by the number of letters they had received.
