If you've been shopping since Christmas day in Chicago, you may have still found a faux fur vest here or there with a medieval look that is absolutely retro, if the medieval movie clothing designs are accurate. Donna Salyer's Fabulous Furs has them online and they look very much like the real thing. You might still find them at Kohl's, if there are any left, and by searching the internet, you're likely to find others. With those choices, search carefully because you may find a perfect vest for New Year's Eve or New Year's Day if you search quickly. Or, for the rest of the winter, there may be one, especially if you are willing to buy one online.
Wear a faux fur vest inside for a party if it's cold inside, if you like to keep the heat dialed down to make heating bills more tolerable. You may need to wear a vest inside with those bills climbing. Or, layer one underneath a coat before you go outside. You may discover that you need to layer them quite often this winter. It will be cozy to wear one, as well as stylish, the next time your uncle, a chubby one, teases you about eating more to have a layer of fat to keep warm. Seriously, though, this would be the perfect time to layer with any vest, even if you can't afford to buy one of the faux fur vests.
Our model wears a vest inside, as you can see, or layered underneath her coat, complete with inexpensive fleece lined leggings, for head-to-toe warmth. In Chicago, we've got another cold spell coming, according to meteorologists, and most likely we'll have other cold spells this winter, so it will be a well made investment if you choose to buy a faux fur vest. The ones out there most often look like the real thing. Now is the time to test one out, if the fashion trends match what is still stocked in the store.
At the very least, you might need a faux fur vest that will look chic, if you're following fashion trends here, in addition to a down coat to keep some of the layers plush and well insulated. By doing that, you may be setting a Chicagoland fashion trend which would be, possibly, even good on the slopes if you plan to ski in one of those ski resorts up north, in the mountains, or through a state park with cross country skis. With that said, if you got a gift of money for Christmas or a bonus from your boss, it will be a luxurious investment if you use it to buy one. Happy New Year!
