Will Usher swoop in and attempt to sign Heather Russell from Rob Fusari?

By now you've surely heard of Heather Russell, the 10-year-old soulful singer who is going to be the next Mariah Carey, as this singing sensation was promoted on MSN on Valentine's Day, no less. Heather has been compared to Atanta's favorite adopted son Justin Beiber, and it would make sense that Usher swoop in and attempt to help Heather Russell like he did Bieber, but will he?

Currently Heather Russell has someone attempting to help her music career and it is Rob Fusari, a Grammy winner himself. But let's face it; Atlanta's Usher is in a better position to help someone go "soul" than anyone else, right?

Usher would likely be willing but it is a sure bet that Rob Fusari has already locked up this talented young singer so it is probably not an option anymore.

And Mariah Carey hasn't left the stage just because she has a new baby, but there is always room for another girl who can belt out the soulful sounds, too. And if that girl happens to not even be a teen yet, isn't that even more of an accomplishment?

Mariah is like Usher, willing to make room for new talent, so it isn't impossible to think that she might actually take the young girl under her new maternal wings herself.

But whether Heather Russell continues to rely on her father James and her mother, as well as Rob Fusari -- or she gets new help from Usher and Mariah --this little songbird is definitely going to take flight and keep climbing higher.

If you happened to miss Heather's featured MSN video on Valentine's Day titled "She Needs Love" check out the video on the left sidebar of this article instead. You can hear another of Heather Russell's songs, this one titled "Can't Please Everyone".

Click the following link to hear the song that sounds the most like Mariah Carey, titled "Listen Up". Then compare it to Mariah's "Someday" and see if they don't sound like almost the same singer.

Heather Russell has a number of other songs as well, including "Every Step of the Way", "You Make Me Feel Okay" and "Everytime I Close My Eyes". And Rob Fusari has released Heather's debut album "Don't Lose Your Mind" which provides an excellent opportunity to hear how her sound has changed since she signed with him.
