Will there be a 'Seinfeld' reunion?

Is it possible that our favorite comedy ‘about nothing’ is on its way back in the form of a reunion? In a word yes – well maybe.

In a recent interview on WFAN’s ‘Boomer and Carton’ show (via’s Jon Blistein), comedian Jerry Seinfeld confirmed he’s been involved in a ‘mystery project’ that has ties to the ‘Seinfeld’ show.

Seinfeld didn’t disclose many details but the ‘reunion’ does include former ‘Seinfeld’ favorite Jason Alexander (George Costanza). Larry David is also involved in the project but behind the scenes.

Seinfeld used his own unique brand of comedy when he answered a question regarding Alexander’s reaction to being asked to participate.

‘No, he remembers that he played that character for many years. He was not surprised that he was asked to play George,’ Seinfeld said.

Although Seinfeld wouldn’t say when fans will see the project, he did say it was a onetime thing.

The comedian did confirm that Tom’s Restaurant (what fans know as Monk’s) was one of the locations that were filmed.
