Last Sunday the Great Mother was on the side of the Seattle Seahawks and their extra loud fans known as the 13th man by her creation of fog that intensified their sound. Ultimately the Seahawks won the nail biting game against the Rams. This weekend they will be playing in Washington DC rather than here where the Great Mother was able to show her support in the form of the sound increasing fog due to the cool weather and adjacent Puget Sound. This weekends game will take place on Jan. 6, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
So far this year the Redskins have done very well and have won their last 7 games in a row. Sundays game will be at their home stadium and that may also be in their favor. Of course the Seahawks have done very well this year as well, maybe playing better than any year before. The last Seahawks game was at their home stadium here in Seattle and the 13th man was there with the added strength of the Great Mother’s gift of fog.
The question on everyone’s mind now is which team will come out of this as the victor. As the Redskins use a representation of a Native American as their symbol, there is no telling who the Great Mother might be rooting for. Its easy to see that we will all be holding our breath, saying our prayers, wearing our lucky underpants, and if your in Washington state or just a Seahawks fan you will likely be a 13th man member while you cheer for your team.
Interesting the odds of the Seahawks winning against the Redskin are actually very good and there are many people placing bets on this wild card game. For those that are betting on the game they may want to pray to the Greek goddess Fortuna. A prayer for bringing money to you by way of Fortuna is; Coins that jingle, coins that shine, come to me now, you are mine! Fortuna help me. No matter if you’re a gambler or not, send the Seahawks some positive thoughts this Sunday.
