Will the Oakland Raiders end with a better record than last year? (Photos)

After the embarrassing loss to the lowly New York Jets on Sunday, many are asking if the Oakland Raiders will end this 2013 NFL season with a better record than last year’s, which was 4-12.

As reported on, the Jets defeated the Raiders 37-27 in New York. The loss was devastating for the Raiders because the Jets came to the game with only scoring 20 points in three games combined.

Also, the Raiders made struggling QB Geno Smith look like a champ. In the end, the defense lost their momentum and have taken three defeats in a row.

So far, the Raiders are 4-9 with three games to go, all AFC West rivals who are favored over Raiders. These three teams include the Denver Broncos, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the San Diego Chargers.

The question is: Will the Raiders be able to win at least one game out of three left in order to end this season with a better record than last season?

Against the Chiefs and the Broncos, the Raiders play at home. Against the Chargers, the Raiders have to play in San Diego.

The Chiefs and the Broncos are the two best teams in the AFC, while the Chargers are on a roll trying to make the wild card. The Raiders, on the other hand, are hurting and, basically, will be playing for pride.

It’s tough to say if the Oakland Raiders will get to end their season with a better record than last season. Hopefully, they will. At least, it would be nice to see the Raiders crash at least one party!
