I won't belabor the obvious...I'm a very good-looking, 4-year old, male, Smooth Fox and Parson (Jack) Russell Terrier mix. I am the first, in what we at the shelter hope, will be an ongoing feature at Examiner.com presenting animals looking for their "forever homes".
I have a lot of good qualities. I am very alert and conscious of my environment; and will signal you, probably by barking, if I hear or smell something that I'm not sure of. I have a great deal of unharnessed energy that I would love to burn playing with my own family. I enjoy being with children that are at least 10 years of age. You see, I like to play and run. And I need someone that can keep up with me! Exercise and riding in the car are my favorite activities. And if you like to throw a ball, I'd love to fetch it! I can play fetch with you for hours on end. Really, I can! So please, if you are thinking about taking me home, remember that I really need to be exercised daily.
I don't mind other animals, but if my new adoptive parent has other pets, I would need to be introduced to them "slowly". The same goes for animals that I don't live with. Just give me the time I need to feel the situation out, and I will be able to adjust. A little patience will go a long way with me.
In addition to what I've mentioned above, here are a few of my other qualities: great markings, adorable floppy ears, beautiful teeth, shiny coat/healthy skin, precious face, athletic figure.
