Will Smoke rise high enough to win the Daytona 500?

Tony Stewart, 3 time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion. Winner of every big race in the series… save one, the Daytona 500. Tony Stewart has won at the Daytona International Speedway, and is second only to the late Dale Earnhardt in career wins at the 2 mile superspeedway. He has won the summer race many times and has won several of the season opening races in the Nationwide Series. The one missing trophy is the 500.

Smoke wins at Dover

Every NASCAR driver wants to win this, the biggest race of the season. It is the largest purse on the series schedule. I know that when Tony won the Brickyard 400 in his home state that the next thing he wanted to win was the 500. He has the three championships, as well as wins in the Indy series and other racing series. He has won the Indy Championship also.

Knowing Tony Stewart, I guarantee that he would most likely trade many of his wins and/or a championship to get his name on the Daytona 500 trophy. He is poised to win many races this year with new teammates Kevin Harvick, past champion Kurt Busch and Indy talent Danica Patrick. He has built an incredible team around his Stewart –Hass Racing and I am positive that he will visit victory lane multiple times this year.
