Theresa Giudice and her husband Joe have been charged with 41 federal counts of fraud, including mail and bankruptcy. Initially Giudice said through her attorney that she would not plead guilty, but it seems there may be a change.
According to a report on Feb. 28 from ABC News, Teresa may plead guilty to four of the 41 felony charges when she appears in court on Tuesday. According to sources, with this plea deal Giudice will spend up to two years in federal prison. If Teresa goes to prison it is not certain who would be the guardian of her four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania and Audriana. Teresa’s father Giacinto is deathly ill from complications from emphysema and Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga have not have not been on good terms for several years.
Teresa’s husband Joe Giudice faces up to 50 years behind bars and possible deportation to Italy. It is not yet known whether Joe has been offered or accepted a plea deal in this matter.
