Will Obama pay a political price?

This time President Obama took "responsibility for the leak, but was he 38 days too late in response to his efforts of the oil spill? It is politics about 90% of it. The public may not blame him for the disaster but surely they will hold him responsible for what happens after the disaster.

Especially, when he arrived in Grand Isle and made an impressive speech and promises to follow through. Some are already believing this is just another one of his promises for the ump teen time. He also didn't show how much command he possess as the President, when he told reporters he didn't know whether Elizabeth Birnbaum resigned from Minerals Management Service or was she fired.

Obama seem to have been pretty contradictory at the last news conference.
