The “X-Men” franchise has experienced a dramatic rebirth over the past decade. It seems as though every year there is a new installment of this franchise that dominates the box office. While “X-Men: Days of Future Past” has not yet opened, an April 10 story by Entertainment Weekly reveals there is already talk of a Jennifer Lawrence led spin off.

Considering Jennifer Lawrence’s immense popularity, it should be of little surprise that the studios are wanting to feature the sexy young actress in a series of her own. There is little doubt that most of Jennifer’s fans would eagerly await the release of this film, but “X-Men: Days of Future Past” will need to perform strongly to make the series a reality.

Fortunately, there is little doubt that the latest movie installment of the classic comic series will be a hit. This will make it far more likely for the “American Hustle” star to get a spin off series of her own.

According to an April 10 report by the Daily Mail, a sultry Jennifer Lawrence recently appeared on the cover of “Entertainment Weekly”. Interestingly, Jennifer Lawrence was nude outside of her Mystique bodypaint. It seems that Mystique is about to assume a more vital role in the “X-Men” universe, and this is a great thing for Jennifer Lawrence’s fans.

Between earning widespread critical acclaim and possibly getting her own spin off movie series, Jennifer Lawrence is having a wonderful year. Yet, there are some that wonder whether the Mystique character will be strong enough for her own series. After all, up until now, she has primarily been a supporting character. While a perennial fan favorite, the character has largely been underdeveloped. It will be interesting to see how “X-Men: Days of Future Past” lays the groundwork for a Mystique spin off movie series.
