There is such a thing a “too little, too late,” this would have been something to admit years ago lone before the United States Doping Agency was accused of being on a “witch hunt” by Armstrong. This might have been reveled in by his teammates and the people he accused of lying so vehemently and taking down their reputations. Like a bad husband, Arnold Schwarzenagger, being suspect to his wife of cheating for years, the time to tell is long before the woman is pregnant let alone some some-teen years later after the child is in junior high school.
Recreating the whole story, not just the convenient parts
This isn’t the first time Armstrong was accused of doping cheating, and anybody can lose their titles and then say, “oh yeah, by the way the allegations have been true all along.” Like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar over and over, “duh.” Does it matter what he says now or what his side of the doping story is? Does he seek to gain something by “in the end” admitting his wrong doing to the public and to the World of Cycling? What about the Olympic Cycling athletes who lost out to Armstrong? A “standing alone” confession would have been the thing to do, a long time ago.
A child in the cookie jar would be easier to make amends for
Could he confess? What does the mega-egomaniac have to gain? Federal charges may still be an issue for the leader of the United States Postal Service Cycling Team. Admitting what? These waters may be tread every so softly for just this reason. Perjury? Truth and reconciliation is always a step on the mend. This whole series of doping events is one sticky wicket tangled web of deception, that only a high-priced lawyer could get such a celebrity out of. Is this toss of the “might confess” just one way for them to test the public waters? Where Lance Armstrong is concerned you can see just about anything is has been used and achieved to avoid the truth and nothing but the truth, and to promote the lie of doping.
A lifetime ban from cycling and the loss of 7 Tour de France titles
Rumor has it. Armstrong wants this mess cleaned up spit-spot so he can move on in his next career endeavor, triathalon. Are you kidding? Can the public trust this cold and calculated deceiver? Would anyone want to be involved in any kind of competition against a known doper?
