Will.i.am's “Scream & Shout” with Britney Spears will feature more star power on an upcoming remix. Spears announced on Thursday night that rappers Waka Flocka Flame, Diddy, and Lil Wayne are set on to be on a new version of the club hit.
“I don't think the world is ready for the #ScreamandShoutRemix @iamwill @Hit_Boy @iamdiddy @WakaFlockaBSM @LilTunechi Let's GO!!!!” she wrote on Twitter about the forthcoming remix.
Producer Hit Boy crafted the forthcoming hip-hop remix of “Scream & Shout.” Aside from announcing the remix, no further details have been released about its possible drop date. It should see the day of light soon though, as a new video with will.i.am and all aforementioned rappers was filmed on Wednesday. A hot collaboration like this could possibly propel the song to no. 1 in the U.S. when its unleashed.
The original club version of “Scream & Shout” meanwhile sits at no. 6 for a second week on Billboard's Hot 100. It has become a surprise hit for will.i.am and Spears and will likely further scale the chart when Waka Flocka Flame, Diddy and Lil Wayne jump on board.
