Will Garth Brooks be making a stop in Kentucky during his world tour? Today, country music singer Garth Brooks held a press conference from Marathon Music Works in Nashville. One of the many questions on everyone’s mind was where is Garth going to go on his next tour.

The internet was abuzz with excitement of news from Garth Brooks. Brooks indicated that he has signed a new record deal with Sony Music for his new album. It will be promoted by Sony’s RCA Records imprint. The first single will be released later this month with new album this fall. It will be released in multiple outlets, whereas in the past his music was released exclusively just Wal-mart.

Garth Brooks indicated that one of the songs may have taken over the place of “The Dance” as one of his favorite songs ever. He reached out to members of the songwriting community for songs to add to the album.

In regards to previously released material, Garth Brooks has decided to embrace the technology age. He has agreed to distribute his music through musical downloads, but only on his website, This is major as he never agreed to distribute his music on iTunes, Amazon, or anywhere else digitally.

Garth Brooks has sold over 69 million albums worldwide according to Nielsen SoundScan, none of those being downloads. It has been 13 years since he released a studio album. Needless to say, fans of Garth Brooks are biting at the bit for new tunes.

As far as the tour dates for his upcoming world tour, well you will have to wait a little bit longer. Those will be revealed on July 14th. Stay tune to for details.
