“American Horror Story” is a huge franchise with the third season underway on the FX network. Season 1 was a huge hit, as was the subsequent Season 2. Several of the characters from Season 1 have been seen walking from season to season, but Connie Britton has not been in the mix. Evan Peters and Jessica Lange are two of the staples that make the show what it is, but fans have been hoping that Britton would make an appearance. According to a report by Rolling Stone on October 31, Connie Britton has been in talks with Ryan Murphy about being on the show, as long as it will work with her new role as Rayna on ABC’s “Nashville.”
Season 1 had Connie Britton playing a mom and wife. Her husband had an affair with a student and in an effort to cease all ties with the student, the family moved into a house on the other side of the country. Throughout the show Britton experienced strange things happening, including giving birth to rubberman’s babies. Fans grew to love Connie Britton and were disappointed that she has not been back to the show.
The newest installment of “American Horror Story” is about a coven of witches. It is only a few episodes in, and will last until late December. This show pushes the limits, and that is why fans adore it and keep coming back to it every October. It is good to know that Connie Britton would return, especially because fans loved her in Season 1.
