Britney Spears’s fans were finally happy for the pop star to finally find love and maybe settle down. That has all changed since Britney announced that there will not be a wedding for her and Jason Trawick according to Us Weekly on Jan. 12.
Spears has returned to the $90,000 engagement ring shortly after announcing she and Trawick were no longer a couple.
It is still unclear what exactly caused the break up but there have been rumors that Britney and Jason have been having problems for several months now. Reportedly Spears wanted to expand their family and Trawick didn’t agree.
While no one really knows the reason for the split, Britney and Jason have both expressed that they still care for each other and plan on remaining friends. They just won’t be getting married or be considered a couple anymore.
It seems Britney has had more than one breakup this week. She also announced on Friday that she was resigning as a “X Factor” judge.
Britney Spears and Jason Trawick began dating in 2009. The couple got engaged in Dec. 2011. Trawick is Spears former agent.
