Will Big Ten schools, Western ever come to Ferris State to play hockey again?

Are the salad days of Ferris State hockey over?
This season, teams like Michigan State, Western Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan and Notre Dame made hockey trips to Ferris because they're CCHA members. It really helped with Ferris' attendances.
Next year, they all are in different leagues and it's a strong possibility none of them will be coming to Ferris for nonleague action. The general word is that the Division I schools are telling Ferris, Northern Michigan and others in the U.P., "you can come to our place but we're not coming to yours."
Another problem is Ferris is locked in 28 WCHA games next year and only has room for 6 to 8 nonleague games with teams like MSU, Michigan, Notre Dane and Western. It's possible none will be able to come to FSU
The hope is that Ferris can have one of these teams, at least, play one game in Big Rapids. Maybe there will be one or two games from these teams.
One thing's for sure; it wont be like it has been for the last 30 years when the CCHA was at its heyday.
Remember, rather than Western, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan and Michigan State coming to Ferris, it's Mankato State, Bemidiji State, Alaska Anchorage, Alabama Huntsville and Alaska Fairbanks coming to FSU.
Is that a letdown or what?
