Delaware’s favorite son Joe Biden, (left, file photo) a.k.a. Mr. "Life is Great and Being V.P. is Easy," may be set to assume an ACTUAL role in the federal government’s attempt to invade the U.S. health care system, ascending another rung on the "usurpation ladder" in the process.
In what would be a nigh unprecedented maneuver (under the circumstances) to advance ObamaCare, overriding the fact the GOP’s gained enough seats to filibuster AND, more notably, ignoring the capacious opposition to the proposed legislation from coast to coast, it is speculated that career politician Biden may use the so-called "nuclear option" to pass the bill; or as a foxnews.com editorial referred to it, the "kamikaze" option.
As president of the Senate, Biden wields the authority to arbitrarily annul rulings by the present parliamentarian Alan Frumin, the Senate’s nonpartisan arbiter of the chamber’s rules, and enable Democrats to circumvent any potential GOP efforts to block the way for passage of the wildly unpopular proposal.
Even rancid hard left liberals like Robert Byrd (of KKK fame) are on record as saying so-called
"reconciliation" is not intended for such purposes. Of course there are those who have long questioned the merits of Byrd’s views in light of how he once compared this tactic "to Adolph Hitler’s use of power in Nazi Germany."
The trail of vitriol, myths, lies, and half-truths from Biden’s boss President Obama, his partners in crime Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, and the otherwise insignificant Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL) is indeed a spectacle to behold.
Not since Sherman cut a path of destruction across the Georgia landscape has America witnessed such blatant disregard for the well being of its citizenry.
Hyperbole? Well of course, but offered in the sense of demonstrating how ridiculous views such as the president proposing that passage of his health care bill would actually lower costs and help the economy; or Reid’s insane analogy of health care legislation opponents and slave owners; or Alan Grayson’s idiotic "Republican health care plan is ‘don’t get sick and if you do die quickly,’" really are.
With Mr. Obama set to address the nation for the umpteenth time in order to educate the
"religion and gun clinging" American hoi polloi, who in his learned opinion must simply just be to thick-skulled to get it, one can only be dumbstruck by the resolve of such dogmatically committed socialists to advance their agenda.
Biden, Obama, and the Democrats being unwilling to temporize to the well established will of the American people, one can begin to see Dr. Alan Keyes' viewpoint when he famously stated, "He (Obama) is going to destroy this country and we’re either going to stop him or the United States of America is going to cease to exist."
Until next time...

The old saying goes: "Those who can...do. Those who can't do, teach. Those who can't teach, write a book. Thos who can't write a book, become talk-show hosts. Those who can't get a talk show, become the Democratice nominee for Vice-President."
'nuff said.
Touche' Willie! Spot on, yet hilarious, description of Mr. B.

As usual, I can't really tell what your real point is here. Is it that Biden has threatened to overrule the Senate parliamentarian? Because he hasn't (and the Democrats haven't even moved to replace a parliamentarian that disagreed with them as the Republicans did in 2001). Is it that reconciliation shouldn't be used to pass a comprehensive health care bill? Because it can't...the only thing reconciliation is going to be used for is to pass budget related changes after the House passes the bill already passed through the Senate. Is it that the health care bill would result in a socialist health care system? It won't...unless you consider Massachusetts's system socialist. Is it that people don't want this health care bill? That actually depends on whether you consider polling to be reliable when people say they don't want the bill but want the component parts.

Tom, you're just plain wrong. Mr. Keith's points are lucid and on target. Just because you can't see the argument on account of you apparantly being a blinded left wing Hussain Obama worshipper and all doesn't mean they don't make any sense to the rest of the world whose heads AREN'T up the collective hind parts of the democrat party. Now apologize.
Wow, James. Another thoughtful comment. What am I supposed to apologize for exactly?
My no vote in the poll is more because I can't say yes to anything that has to do with the proposed healthcare plan. The government has proven themselves to be inept in every program they operate by running it into the ground and winding up in negative territory (I'm not sure that applies to the IRS because they aren't spending the money as much as robbing it from the folks).
It is my prayer that God will grant this country His mercy once again and He will deliver us from this evil bill!
Wouldn't that also mean that His will was done if the bill passes?
@Tom,

Sorry, CwB, just trying to inject a little humor. I thought my comment was just silly...obviously I thought Christianity & Politics Examiner's comment was as well.
My original point remains. Keith's article was all over the place. If he had stuck to exploring his original premise instead of diverting into self-described hyperbole, he might have learned more about the Senate parliamentarian, what the parliamentarian's role in reconciliation is, how parliamentarians have ruled in the past on different items that were attempted to be pushed through reconciliation, etc.
Keith's got some anger or something which is why his articles are always so filled with derogatory comments about people who disagree with him. If he could focus that anger, he would be a much better writer and would be able to focus on a single topic throughout an article.
Thanks all for reading and sharing your views. Whether or not I agree I always appreciate that you took the time to opine and/or bloviate. And hey, we all so that sometimes don't we?

I remember hearing Biden saying he had an epiphany sometime early in his political career wherein he saw that the Democratic vision was correct. After reading Thos. Sowell's article about the ruling elite, could it be the light Joe saw showed him how comfortable he could be by being a yes man for the Socialist Party U.S. (dems) for the rest of his life?
That's right cowpatty!
Unfortunately the "light" which was the ephiphany that Joey saw was the liberal/socialist Obama train bearing down the track ready to flatten us all!
Got something to say?
