Of course Amanda Knox is going to promote her "memoir" in her upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer, but is she going to be honest? Carmi Times shared details on the upcoming interview on Feb. 11, 2013. So anyone who is familiar with this tragic case will undoubtedly be glued to their televisions -- and the ABC network is sure to see a spike in ratings. Will you watch it?
The woman sometimes referred to as "Foxy Knoxy" will promote the so called "memoir" of her experiences in Italy -- in particular her four year vacation in Perugia for the brutal sexually motivated murder of Meredith Kercher. Knox and her Italian lover Raffaele Sollecito were later released and their convictions were appealed, but it should be pointed out that Italian officials are appealing that appeal -- which may end negatively for Knox. Will she add another chapter to her "memoir" if this happens? Will she speak of this upcoming possibility to Diane during her interview?
Carmi Times reports that Amanda Knox's interview will air on April 30, 2013 -- which is two months away and coincidentally on the same exact day that her book will be published. What lucky planning for her first ever interview to land on such a financially beneficial occasion!
While "Foxy Knoxy" may have a huge following of supporters, there also appears to be an equal amount of people who question her innocence in the slaying of Meredith Kercher. On social networks the discussion about her upcoming interview with Diane Sawyer is a mixed bag of negative and positive comments. Some of the statements in particular are telling of just how suspicious some people are of the young woman.
"Here we go again," one person on Twitter said.
Hopefully the interview reveals a side of Amanda that needs to be shown. She is and may forever remain a controversial figure in more than just one country. Whether or not she partook in the murder of Meredith Kercher, her life is forever changed so her story will be interesting regardless of whether she tells the truth or not.
