Fan favorite Xbox 360 exclusive Alan Wake, seemingly has been put to rest. Developer Remedy came out this summer and essentially closed the door on the popular horror action adventure game. Wake came out in 2010 and took the gaming world by storm. The shooter mixed a balance of a good story, great graphics and one of a kind gameplay.
"After the first game, we worked hard to make the sequel happen. But as you know these games are huge undertakings and many things need to fall in place," said Sam Lake the creative director of Remedy to IGN this past spring.
In the interview, Lake continues to talk about how many games don't happen specifically for the funding and the right partners could potentially not be available. Because of these things, diehard fans don't get to see games that they desperately want to see made. The creative process for a video game is so intricate that the games that are even announced and planned because of funds.
The big question is will Alan Wake 2 happen? Judging by the video attached it seems that Wake 2 is being put into storage. Maybe someday we could see Wake 2 but for now it seems that we won't for the time being. If it does happen, it will have many Xbox fanboys very happy.
